Candle Care & Safety Guide

Here's how to get the most out of your Lavender Dreams Co. candle and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience:

Before You Light We recommend removing the crystals and any larger dried florals from your candle before lighting it. You can easily rinse your crystals with warm water to remove any excess wax.

Wick Trimming is Key! ALWAYS TRIM YOUR WICK to 1/4 inch before each lighting. This is super important! Carbon buildup on an untrimmed wick can "kill the vibe" by causing black soot to fall into your candle. Trimming also keeps the flame at a safe height and makes your candle last much longer. Seriously, TRIM YOUR WICKS!

First Burn & Beyond For the best results and to prevent "tunneling" (when wax builds up around the edges), allow your candle to burn long enough to create a complete, even wax pool across the top. This ensures you get the most out of every burn.

Safety First

  • Never leave your candle unattended.

  • Keep candles out of reach of pets and children.

  • We don't recommend burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Here's how to maximize the magic of your Lavender Dreams Co. candle:

Setting Your Intention

Before you light your candle, take a moment to set your intentions. Quiet your mind and visualize what you want to bring into your life. Really focus on the feeling you'll have once your desires come true. Hone in on that feeling for a moment, as if you already have what you're asking for. Once you light your candle, the warmth from the flame will radiate and send your positive intentions out into the Universe.

Repurposing Your Vessel

When you're finished burning your candle, you can easily repurpose the beautiful vessel. Simply fill it with boiling water and let it sit for a few hours. The remaining wax will harden and rise to the top of the water, making it easy to remove. We always encourage you to give your candle vessel another life! If you don't have a use for it, we'll gladly take it back to ensure it gets one.
